As the golf season reaches its final few events, the excitement levels have dipped a little bit. However, there are some who are making a huge name for themselves. One such name on the rise is Ludvig Aberg, who has taken the world by storm. The Swedish sensation has now claimed his first PGA Tour title following a dominating performance at the RSM Classic.
What makes this victory even more special is that he turned professional six months ago. In this short span of time, he has enjoyed plenty of success and is now on his way to the 2024 Masters.
The 24-year-old had been making his name on the European circuit which caught the attention of many. His triumph at the Omega Masters tournament saw him being called up for Team Europe by Luke Donald for the Ryder Cup. At first, many would criticize the money as Aberg took the spot of Adrian Meronk. He though paid back the faith placed on him by his captain as he shined in his team’s Ruder Cup win.
Aberg has now shown off his skills at the RSM Classic. He would card a score of 61 in back-to-back rounds over the weekend to clinch the cup. He eventually finished the tournament four strokes ahead of Mackenzie Hughes.
"Beyond my dreams... It's been six months I'll never forget".

The term “GOAT” in golf is usually directed towards Tiger Woods. For long fans have been wondering how would be the next “GOAT” of golf.
