Dana White recently did an 86-hour water fast that did wonders for him. White showed the result of his fasting on his social media. Apparently, White did the fast after being referred to it by his doctor. Now, Hollywood star Josh Brolin has followed suit with the UFC CEO.
Brolin shared his progress of the fasting on his Instagram story. He had fasted for three days already and was going for the fourth day. White shared Brolin’s progress on his Instagram story, encouraging the Hollywood star. Brolin is a veteran actor who was once a teen sensation. Recently, he acquired worldwide fame for his portrayal of ‘Thanos‘ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Apparently, Hollywood star Josh Brolin was inspired by Dana White to do water fasting. Many notable celebrities have started to do water fasting since the UFC CEO posted about it on his social media. Before Dana White, former UFC double champion Georges St-Pierre has also done and still does water fasting.
St-Pierre is one of the fittest athletes, even after he retired from MMA. White and St-Pierre advocated water fasting as they believed it helps reduce the risk of dangerous diseases.
GSP last fought at UFC 217 at Madison Square Garden against Michael Bisping. Moreover, he made history at the event by becoming the UFC middleweight champion, thereby becoming a double champion. However, health issues forced GSP to vacate the title and retire.
