The beef between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington was known to the whole MMA community. What’s sad is that they were once best friends who trained and lived together. Recently, a video edit of them went viral on X. As such, former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling shared the video along with his thoughts about it. He compared Covington-Masvidal with his friendship with Merab Dvalishvili.

Here is what he said:
This is actually pretty shit to see how things went left for these guys who were once good friends and training partners. Just a reminder of why I would never turn my back on my brother, Merab, for a few dollars, for the world’s “amusement.”
