The Dallas Cowboys will play their traditional Thanksgiving game on Thursday against the Washington Commanders. The America’s Team is one of the contenders to lift the Super Bowl this year and has a record of 7-3 through 10 games so far. The Commanders on the other hand have a losing record of 4-7 and are going through a rough season.
However, no team in the NFL is an easy out. The Commanders might have a losing record but they are no easy team to beat. The Eagles, who have the best record in the league this season, were troubled by the Commanders during their week 4 matchup. The Cowboys’ superstar defender Micah Parsons knows about the Commanders’ threat and had high praise for them.
Parsons said about the Commanders:
This is a really good team. When you turn on the tape, they've been close to beating the Eagles. So, this is a team that can be in a positive any given way. They remind me a lot of the Chargers. They're a really good team. ... The ball just don't roll to your side sometimes. This is a team that could and should be on a positive track with the amount of talent they have. It's a team that we need to take very, very seriously.
The Cowboys took care of business against the Carolina Panthers in their last game. The Commanders on the other hand were beaten handily by the New York Giants in their last game on Sunday. This Thursday game is going to be a good game.

Micah Parsons looking forward to playing on Thanksgiving
The Dallas Cowboys’ star LB Micah Parsons has been phenomenal this season. And the Thanksgiving game is his type of game. The defenseman has always produced some great numbers on Thanksgiving games. Parsons will now play in another one of those games against the Washington Commanders on Thursday.
Parsons said on Tuesday:
I think I've been playing pretty good on Thanksgiving. That might be my type of game. I like when certain family members are in town. It gives you something to look for, especially some of my uncles and stuff. They're in the military, things like that, don't get to see them as much, and my uncles are funny It's always been a privilege and a pleasure to play for them.
Parsons so far this season has been one of the best defenseman in the NFL. He has already accumulated 10 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery this season and is on the Defensive Player of the Year shortlist at the midway point of the season.
